Only a couple weeks ago H&H canceled all their tour dates over Dio's health. I kinda figured it was coming but it still feels surprising at the same time

Listened to Magica yesterday while my thoughts were with him, sounds like he had a nasty last few days, with rumours of his death, then being denied but saying he wasn't well, then his passing. RIP Ronnie, you were one of the best performers on earth at what you did and you meant a lot to me over the years.

This thread was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster to come to late, not having heard any of the news at all. Ominous thread title got me worried, confirmation of rumours a few posts down had me breathing a sigh of relief; a few posts later the devestating news. A sad day for rock and roll.

I've enjoyed reading some of the posts from various musicians on Blabbermouth regarding Dio's death, and the one from Lars Ulrich was particularly interesting. Dio was a very, very loved man.
