Yes..there is a previous thread (back off KingsGene!), but I wanted to promote this one specifically for our friends at Center Stage.

Hope to see a few of you there.

If the Mrs and I were not trying to sell our house, I'd be there. However back to back ATL trips while my honey do list is multiplying might try her Job-like patience.

Wow. Completely missed this some how. Thanks for posting.

How is Jolly? Can't find them on metal-archives.

Jolly isn't 'metal' technically, although some of their songs are pretty heavy. They are certainly one of the most unique bands i've ever heard; you can tell they have a wide range of influences but despite that, their music is pretty accessible. I'd love to see them live but they won't be playing anywhere close to where I live :/

i am planning on being there. will be in a steven wilson 'moon' shirt from the raven tour.

looking forward to this. i think i own all of riverside and jolly releases.

rick..

Incredible show, not to mention a huge bargain at 15 bucks a pop and free parking. While it would have been nice to hear a track or two from Out of Myself, I couldn't have asked for a better set list. Their performance of Egoist Hedonist especially brought the house down. Plus, I have to say that they are all very cool, humble and funny guys. Merging the Tomahawk chop chant with the vocals in Left Out was a stroke of genius. Let's hope they stand up to their promise of coming back to Atlanta real soon!

HAHA they actually did it? They were posting on Facebook about it after Jolly took them to a game. That's awesome.

I know of at least one other band that incorporates the Tomahawk Chop into their live show. Not enough. This should be a mandatory replacement for all filler songs, unnecessary drum solos, etc.

They did! Also, Piotr played the tomahawk chop chant on his guitar. These guys have earned the key to the city as far as I'm concerned.

Just caught them in Chicago last night. Jesus Christ.. would anyone be opposed to Glenn dedicating a night of ProgPower to them playing their entire discography every year?

They were even better than I remembered and their last PPUSA is my second favorite show of all time.
