Road Trip pictures

Ahh some football fans-great!! I'm glad football season is finally here. I'm a die-hard Bears fan, but pay a lot more attention to the college game than pros.

Brat-those professional football players are quite a bit tougher than you give them credit for. It does no good for a team to have a guy sitting out because of a minor injury, so those guys don't usually last very long in the NFL, although there are some pansies out there. NFL players have to play with quite a bit of pain. Now, I'll agree with you that it was a tough-ass sport 20-50 years ago, those were some tough guys playing too, but the game was different back then too. Players were a lot smaller. Just imagine being a 300 pounder, colliding head on with another 300 pounder for 80 snaps in a game-those are some tough bastards too. Ok-I'm down off my soap-box now.

As for the Cardinals, I wish they weren't so bad. I know a guy that plays for them, he likes the coaches and everything, but wishes he could play somewhere else b/c of management issues.
 
You just raised my next point, which is that football and sports in general were a lot more interesting before "supplements" took over.

Just about every problem with the Cardinals comes either directly or indirectly from upper management. The world would be a better place if Bidwell would sell them to someone who knows what they're doing.

I will HATE Elway even 30 or so years from now when I am retired for what he did to my beloved Browns 3 freakin times!!!!!!!!! What is cool is that even now when living in Arizona I can be amongst browns fans as the southwest branch of the browns backers are one of the largest groups of brownsbackers!!:Spin:
