Anyone that's heard the track featuring Mikael have any comments on it?

Reminds me of a combination of Crash Test Dummies and Camel. Kinda weird, but in a good way.

Haha sounds awesome, I gotta hear this

The Crash Test Dummies influence comes from a vocal pattern in the song...it's very similar to that one CTD song where the guy does that "hmm Hmm HMM HMM!" thing

I'm really looking forward to hear it! :)
In my opinion all the other songs from the album you can download are just boring. Especially the one Joey wrote...

I like "In the fire"
Great guitars and vocals.

The End sounds like Liknin Park.
Fucking awful....the song could fit on a tribute to popmusic.

Annihilation By The Hands Of God
Well..okey...Glen can sing :)

The dagger....nu death metal...like killswitch/chimaira
Boring song.

I haven`t heard roads yet. Where can i hear it ?

I have heard the song "Roads" now. Very short (2:25)!

It`s kind of diffrent. With the hmmmmmm hmmmmm. Some cool violin to.

Edit: Damn...when you hear Mikes voice you really think: Damn..who`s this guy!!
He`s a great singer!

:Spin:

Has someone a link to it...? :erk: ^^

Btw: "The end" is really disgusting... Take every bad song ever released on Roadrunner, mix them up and you get "the end". :ill:

Damn, I really am looking forward to that one the most. Guess I'll just have to wait..

As for the others:
In the Fire: Damn, what a cool song. It's such a shame that the singer(s) of Trivium have to have those typical screams. Pretty sweet guitars and I love King Diamond's voice.

The End: Sounds a little too radio-friendly for me.

Annihilation By the Hands of God: Pretty sweet track. Joey should really be in a different band where he has better accessibilty to doing what he wants on drums. The Murphy Solo was awesome.

The Dagger: :hypno: ?

my favourites are the tracks with king diamond, mikael, glen and peter.
the bad thing about mikaels track is that it's too short . . . :(

I've listened to about half of the album. Some of the songs are downright horrible and unlistenable, but there's two or three ok songs.

I was hoping for some Mikael growling, so maybe I was a little bit dissapointed by the track, but it's not too bad. His singing is very nice - I really like it when he adds a bluesy feel to his voice (e.g. the end of the last 'agaaaaain'). Come to think of it, it hardly sounds like Mikael. I'm still undecided as to whether this is due to the way his vocals have been produced, or that his voice is actually developing into something else.

Not pirated, I just work for a radio station :)

One track I was entirely surprised by was the one with Dani Filth. This is the first time he's been in anything even close to black metal for a long time. I find myself listening to this song more than anything else on the CD.
