And exactly, who cares what program Opeth goes on or what radio station plays their stuff. As long as they stick to their music and keep doing the wonderful things that they do, then its all good.

People crying about Opeth being on MTV...So What??? You gonna dump them now?

They deserve it!

I don't know if you're talking about what I said... But my comment was ment
as a joke... "No one wants to see Opeth on MTV..." was ment like,
no-one wants 'em to have to do that against their own will. If they think it's
a good idea to do a music video and put it on MTV later on, then I'm going to
support them nevertheless! Opeth is the shit!

They deserve their new attention. But I know that people, and I, don't want
them to be confused with some commerical junk-metal band.

The album isn't bad, quite heavy actually and pretty much straight up metal.
I think it was a great opportunity for the musicians, they got to collaborate and write together on RR's expense on a positive note.
