Maybe what Mark meant was that if EMI did a better job of promoting Maiden, more albums would be sold and therefore Sanctuary would notice and reward us with a tour ! Which in real terms equates to recognise the potential of breaking even or maybe making 5 pounds (after exchange rate) and then it's worthwhile... just my 2 cents.

Back to the EMI thing, I rang JB Hifi yesterday, the girl said yeah it was out and they just speaking to the local EMI rep , should have it in next monday duh???? . I also when into the Local sanity chain ,(why the fuk I bothered I just don't fuking know) girl did'nt have a clue the only thing she new about them was there is a DVD coming outof LAD?????. Now if I'd asked for BRITNEY OR SOME OTHER SHIT I'D BE FUKING RIGHT.

I got RIR on friday and gave it a caning in the CD player over the weekend.

The BNW stuff is really good live, except The Mercenary is still a crap song.

The production is great, lots of bottom end power and punchy drums, just like it should be.

Bruce sounds in good form.

I agree with Mark's comments that mix is a bit muddy in places, but i think its mainly the guitars. I reckon it would be a nightmare trying to get the mix right with 3 guitars.

The solution: - get rid of Gers!

Either that or give Adrian his old parts back....how the fuck can they let Janick do the intro to 2 Minutes??? He botches it. Adrian must be on stage, rolling his eyes when Janick starts the riff for it.

Sometimes i still wonder how a band of Maidens stature could've recruited and kept an all too frequently sloppy guitarist like Janick Gers.

Well, i actually love the way it starts, its more the repetetive chorus that i dont like. It just loses its speed and power when it gets to the chorus....it couldve been much better.

I think RIR in many ways is better than LAD, with the exception of the old classics which are butchered by Janick.
