been busy as hell recently, so sorry for lack of posting recently.

this is in the middle of being tracked still, vocals need to be recorded. lead guitars are a bit loud atm, and could do with some opinions on the guitar tone. guitars were a tele with some seymour duncans in (bassy as hell) and an ESP with stock (i think) passives.

leads are a bit loud atm too.

drums are more sample heavy than id like - drummer couldnt afford new skins. shame as he's actually a really good drummer. bass was a traben bass.

Nice work.
When the leads come in, the whole thing start to clip a little more.
I'd turn down the kick a little - it makes your limiter pump.

listenened to it again - go easy with limiting
hearable distortion/clipping.

haha im actually just bouncing at again, taking off FXG at the end of the mastering, sounds way better without it.

give me 10 mins and cheers for giving it a listen!

ok, new one is up (same link) - sounds a million times better with taking off FXG. still a little clipping in places, but much clearer sounding.

Good song, so far, regarding song structure. Like the use of the dim chord, and emphisis on major 3rd in some parts. Very melodic, can't wait for vocals.

Sounds pretty cool! I like the song, overall. I'm listening at work on my crappy headphones so I scan't really comment on the mix too much but it sounds good as far as I can tell. I'm also excited to hear this with some vocals.

I love everything except the snare. Snare is just too bright/snappy, probably partially from FG-X but also the mixing.

it sounds far more better without that FXG-thing (though i can hear some clippnig ). I like the rythm guitars tone; and its a cool song.

UPDATE:

new mix, actually a different song as this one needs to be finished first. bit frustrating with this band that i've fitted it in between other jobs so can only work on it when i have the time.

guitars are JVM through a mesa cab now, feedback would be awesome

Great song. Great mix so far. I like the JVM/Mesa chain. It's dark, which really seems to compliment the song and the singer. Nice work.
