I just listened to Betty Blowtorch - Rock My World

Here is my verdict:

Where can I hear more???? They sound like what Motley Crue would if they were chicks. Bad attitude coming out their ears!

Phloggy, I think I have something now that is definitely what you're looking for if you want Blowtorch type stuff...

Nashville Pussy, same type of thing as Betty Blowtorch.... "Trash/Gutter rock" type stuff, with chicks. Basically your punky/trashy Guns N Roses meets AC/DC with more aggression type band.

Also... I hear that Half Cocked are meant to be good and play that type of stuff.

A good '80s band in that style is Pretty Boy Floyd. Although they had the glam image, the sound is definitely heavily leaning to the trash/gutter rock sound, but with a partyish Poison edge too. Try the title song of their album "Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz", pretty much sums them up I think.

You might also wanna try the latest Motley Crue album "New Tattoo". It's exactly the style you're looking for, flat out heavy rock & roll with a trash/gutter edge. Try out the songs "She Needs Rock & Roll", "1st Band On The Moon", "Hell On High Heels", "Punched In The Teeth By Love", "Porno Star", "Treat Me Like The Dog I Am", etc.
