In my opinion Rod Tyler is pretty good even though Russel Allen is more powerful. I was listening to certain songs off the self-titled album and Rod is a pretty good vocalist though. :headbang: A bit underrated. DON'T BE A HATER! Lol.

No matter how good Tyler could have been, the fact that he was replaced by the mighty Russell Allen necessarily lead pretty much everyone to underrate the poor guy.

Personally, I can enjoy the s/t; just gotta make sure I haven't listened to Russell for a while

I think he sounds great on Premonition.

It's worth getting. Most of the songwriting is commendable, and A Lesson Before Dying is genuinely one of the standout tracks of the band's career. It has an instrumental section for a few minutes before it closes that's just awesome, and totally unique among SX's work as well.
