I hope I'll be able to get there early enough to see Infinit Descent. They're a good metal band, female-fronted but different than the usual. They're a lot more aggressive, more straightforward and modern. Think of a more progressive The Agonist. Pretty solid band. www.myspace.com/infinitedescent
Vengeance is straightforward old school metal it seems. Doesn't really do much for me, but we'll see.

Whoa shit, I can't believe I missed this! If anyone is travelling and wants to hang at my place after, I've got plenty of room and beer and only about 20 minutes from the venue!

Plus, I need to make a comment about this band. People in CT make a fuss over them simply because they're the only local power metal band. If you really think about it, they're nothing but a poor Sonata Arctica rip-off. They use the same style melodies, the singer tries to sound, dress and act on stage EXACTLY like Tony Kakko.
Is there potential there? I wouldn't deny it. However, calling this band "mighty Myopia" would be the same thing as calling Hamburger Helper top quality steak.
Haha...agreed. I was trying to imply the same thing you just said, but without saying it! My sarcasm usually goes undetected.

Keep in mind it'll be split in two rooms. I would assume Fates won't play till 10pm. I just called the Webster, but they won't have the set times until tomorrow PM. I will call them again and post the time here tomorrow.
