To me, the guitars sound like they've got a little too much edge in the 6-8k range. And not enough mids and 8k+ in it. but that may just be my opinion.

Yea it's either the guitars or the overall mix has a very scooped feel to it ^^ did you eq your 2-buss? A bit pushed in the 2-4k range.

i guess the the final master eq fucked it up haha
i went for a brighter mix and a heavy mix
boost at 65hz(+2db,Q 1.0),100hz(+1db,Q 1.0),1k(+1db,Q 1.0),2k(+1db Q 1.0),4k(1db,Q 1.0),15k(1db,Q 1.0) cut at 200 -1db Q 1.0
hp at 35 Lp at 16500...
