Just listening to the first Korn album for the first time in years ...I didn't realise how pushed the mix is. The snare is proper distorting. I remember Ross saying he liked to work with analogue because he liked to push stuff into the red...Now i really hear it

...Omg Ball Tongue has just kicked in and the comp is so aggressive on the intro...

I love listenin to shit i liked when I was knee high to a grasshopper. It's like hearing it all over again. It's either really cool or really shitty lol.

I just popped in antichrist superstar by manson this morning. The compositions and the mix are incredible but I couldn't help but notice how much it lacked the sparkle.

I like the way that album sounds, nu-metal might not be the cool thing nowadays but I still like it! Take A Look In The Mirror has a similar sound as well, they tried to go back to being "old skool" nu-metal with that album. Like hear these -





They sound so damn heavy!
