Really? I always thought it was kind of sexy. Never thought it sounded Schwarzenegger-esque.

Same with Rhapsody's Italian accent. It can be funny sometimes but he knows how to make it sound good

It was in genesis album mostly. In the song nightmare when he say:
Beyond inconceivable agony, to tha tark tannel of pain and so on.......

Maybe he did that for purpose, it sounds more biblical if something is sang without the proper american accent.
In all the other albums his accent was preety decent , despite the songs that were in ancient greek.
