rumor mill!

skinny puppy can't tour as one of their main guys died many years ago. I seriously know this is more just a pipe dream and I don't see anthrax doing anything like this in the states. they would rather get on a tour that actually will help them gain more people. this tour wouldn't do that.

Actually I met Ogre from skinny puppy a few weeks back. They are working on a new album and a summer tour. I also had the pleaseure of meeting Buck Satan ( al jourgenson) He mentioned he would love to have a tour with Anthrax. Sorry bout the name droppin but this was from the horses mouth.

well, ogre plays with many bands as industrial is very incestous but skinny puppy just isn't skinny puppy without dwayne.

Hell no, the last thing we need is anthrax touring with just anybody. they have wasted enough years. they have to do everything right to get themselves back in the spotlight so they can continue to make killer cds.

I knew it. Ogre would be part of this industrial festival tour but skinny puppy in it's truest sense can't as it wouldn't be the whole group. I am too much of an industrial fan of old to not know this.

MINISTRY have announced plans to launch a month-long "festival" tour beginning in late July. Joining them on the bill will be REVOLTING COCKS and OGHR (featuring SKINNY PUPPY frontman Nivek Ogre, a.k.a. Kevin Ogilvie), along with four or five other bands, all of whom will be "handpicked" by the industrial metal pioneers.

"We plan on coming back to the States on the 15th of July and doing our own fest starting around the 26th or 27th of July and continuing until on or about Sept. 1st," writes MINISTRY frontman Al Jourgensen on the band's official web site. "Ogre is coming out with us as well as the COCKS and hopefully Jello Biafra to crank out some LARD. There will be 4-5 other bands on the bill that I cannot mention until I get absolute confirmation, but you can bet your ass they are all handpicked, all friends, and all will kick some very major ass. It will be worked on by management while we are in Europe and an announcement with rosters and schedules should be forthcoming soon.....so keep your eyes and ears open!!!!!"

Regarding the band's forthcoming European tour, Jourgensen writes, "due to time restraints I can almost guarantee we will not be doing 1 1/2 - 2 hr. sets at the festivals over there. Plus if we are not on at night the visuals and lights are rendered useless. That is why we have scheduled club dates throughout Europe. That will be more similar in scope to the U.S. shows. However, the obvious appeal of these fests is to see a ton of bands at once. We hope you Euro-pissants will try and get to both."
