Running 30+ inputs at the same time?

Right now I'm using a Saffire Pro with an external preamp totalling 16 XLR inputs simultaneously at the same time. As my studio grows up more tracks would be useful. How can I record 30+ tracks at the same time? The Saffire I think has a 28x I/O limit. Would something like getting a second one work?

Rme raydat is what I'm using for that exact purpose.

Yeah RME Fireface UFX, RayDat, HDSPe Madi / HDSPe Madi FX among others.
With some interfaces, getting a second one works for example Metric Halo does that. No idea concerning Focusrite though.
