Running Wild

Hey, buddies. I am in the market for new albums and am thinking about buying 1 or 2 Running Wild albums. I've heard good things and have heard them compared to Manowar, Blind Guardian and Rhapsody, bands that I really like. Does anyone know anything else about this band? I haven't heard any of their music and don't want to buy an album totally blind. Any album suggestions?

I happen to own some older RW albums and I used to like them very much, but I've kinda grown out of them. Their best IMO is Death or Glory followed closely by Blazon Stone and Pile of Skulls. But since I don't know their newer albums, except for Black Hand Inn, my recommendation should be taken with a grain of salt.

Very homogenic stuff, just like Manowar, Stratovarius, Hammerfall and Rhapsody. You'll eventually grow out of them.

All right, thanks pal. Both pieces of advise noted. I really like Manowar and Rhapsody a lot, though, and am going to purchase some RW today.

Just listen to some more Blind Guardian and then you don't have to buy it.
