Great stuff!! What a contrast between those two albums eh! although i dont understand why 'Point of Entry' gets such a hard time, i mean Desert Plains, Heading out to the Highway, Hot Rockin' awesome priest classics!! Perhaps its because it came after British Steel but before Screaming for Vengeance and when you think of it like that......

I dont actually have 'Point of Entry' on CD, its one of the few (or should i say 2) i dont have on cd, i do have it 3 times on vinyl (1 american pressing with alternate cover, one english and one stamped cbs promo) and i also have the (american) cassette.

I downloaded the remaster but i will buy it .. I love 'Thunder Road' and the live version of 'Desert Plains'....

You seem like a massive Priest fan. What did you think of the albums without Halford?I never heard them or any of Halfords after Priest.I think i head the first Fight album. But for most of the 90's i did'nt listen to much metal.

When i say anal i mean like i was with Wildhearts,Dogs damour,Carter Usm and the Levellers. You have own everything. Some singles i have the 7",12" cd 1,cd 2 and picture disc.I'm not now reading this if that make me a fan or a bit a stalker:lol:

The first album 'Jugulator' was ok at first because it was kind of stupidly heavy, but from the first listen i was'nt sure i liked Rippers voice. The songs were pretty immature and silly (even for Priest!) Brain Dead, Decapitate etc.

The whole thing was a bit daft after a while. The Live CD they did with Ripper i really didnt like and i thought 'Demolition' was pretty disgusting especially compaired to the Halford stuff, Resurrection, Live Insurrection and Crucible which are amazing. The first Fight CD was great but i wouldnt say i was a big fan of that era, the fight stuff on the Halford live cd was amazing though...

I see what you mean now, i was not familiar with the term. Yeah i once bought a second copy of Painkiller (on vinyl) because the cover was a different shade of purple (the sky in the background) lol think i have that one about 5 times.

I have a great Priest collection!! great meaning crazy, insane or even 'anal' lol
