Sampled my cymbals and tried them out.

Just got done sampleing my cymbals. Cut them all up, then through them in Aptrigga. Im liking it so far. Just have to mess around with aptrigga's "smooth" knob alittle more to make them sound better.

They sound pretty nice to me. Maybe a little too compressed in this sample, but that could just be me. I'd use them if you ever thought about giving them out. The mix ain't half bad either.

Did you just update the file from your original post? Hard to compare in that case. I'm allergic to compressed OH and that wav gave me quite a rash.. The mp3 sounded waaaaay better. Good job!

yeah ill probably give them out once i organize them better, right now its just a big mess. And im hoping to sample all of my drummers cymbals soon. And he has way better cymbals.

The new thing is completely re done, but i used all the same presets on drums. I just adjusted aptrigga to make them smoother. And i saw some reason i had a compressor on my cymbal bus, so i took that off.

This sounds great man, the cymbals sound very real for being done in Aptrigga, usually I have a problem with the attack. Were the cymbals sent into a room impulse or convulsion type deal?
