Saturday Night Roll Call

It restored my faith in Chicago a little bit.

That was one of the best turnouts I have seen for a local chicago show in a long time.

I thought Lot 4 was a cool place. Lots of room to chill out if you wanted to just hang out, have a beer, and talk to people. I had never been there before either. To be honest, I had never even heard of the place before.

The place itself was nice. A couple of the people who worked there seemed decent. But some of 'em weren't so nice. And as Paul said, the sound situation was a mess. If they worked out those kinks, we'd consider playing again, but I won't hold my breath. I'm just glad that people seemed to enjoy themselves that night, that's what matters.

You guys seemed to be enjoying yourselves too.
This was only the 3rd time I have seen you guys play, but it was easily the most energetic performance out of those 3. (Not saying there was anything wrong with the other gigs, though I am sure lower turn out could have been a factor, IE - JJ Kelley's last summer).

We're a stronger band now I think. We worked hard preparing for the tour, we gel pretty well with Chris on bass, and between the tour and the local shows we did more shows in the past few weeks than we'd done in the past few years combined. I think that's enabled us to become a better live band, personally.
