I saw the first Saw when it was in theaters.....didn't like it. I saw Saw IV from a streaming site shortly after it came out, didn't really like it either.
Although, I do like the parody with Shaq and Dr. Phil in Scary Movie 4. That was entertaining.
I thought Saw II was the worst of them, stupid plot and no gore. 3 and 4 shitty plots too, but at least they had some pretty brutal torture. had The first one was definitely the best, didn't see 5 or 6. Maybe I'll download both of them.
Hang on. Maybe I liked III better. One of the them was predictable to the point of farce. They're all blending into each other now. Stupid cash cow horror movies. Just fucking die, Tobin Bell.
The first one was definitely the best, but I enjoyed the rest of the series as well. I just hope they won't start stringing movies after each other to the point of idiocy. But some of you will argue that that has already happened.
I think the best torture technique I saw in the series was when some guy was placed in this device with his limbs spread apart (elevated in a vertical position). Each section of the limb had a rotating plate that would turn the limb slowley at 180 degrees then stop. The head being the last part.....that was awesome!
Then I went to the theater to see Saw 4 and it kept having flashbacks to Saw 3, and I was all like "NUTS there was a Saw 3?!" Anyway that movie was terrible as well.
Since this is Saw 6, it would seem I never watched Saw 5 either.
The only way I can invest interest in this series in future installments is if Danny Glover makes a glorious return.
