Liked the first one because it was a little different than what I expected. Second one was exactly as I expected so it was very bleh to me. Tried watching III but fell asleep. Never bothered with the series since. I've only seen the first one a single time and the second one a single time and have no urge to every watch one again. Or Hostel as it looks way too similar (random boring torture, albeit good imaginitive but still mundane after a while).

Caters for a specific audience, can't really complain. They like it, they pay to see it and so they keep making more.

to each their own I guess. Not my thing, but if people enjoy it, go for it. Just like how so many people love the Wayans parody movies even though I can't fucking stand them and will actually leave a house if it's put on (I've done it twice). Some people enjoy that humor though, poor dorks.

I know I enjoyed the first one the most.
I can't remember Saw II coz saw it like 5 years ago, I remember I didn't hate it too much and all those comments rly surprised me.
Saw III sucks, IV is watchable, don't remember Saw V (XD) and haven't seen Saw VI yet, probably gonna try it.
