I agree that what ever they did from the 90 and on is shit, but the first four records are amazing, cuz in that era really few bands were playing such stuff, but if you want to compare them to what we have now, of course it's average.

I agree that what ever they did from the 90 and on is shit, but the first four records are amazing, cuz in that era really few bands were playing such stuff, but if you want to compare them to what we have now, of course it's average.

If you take every album for what it is and what genre it belongs to, all albums are at least average in their respective genres. Of course, some albums are better than others when comparing each of them to all other Metallica albums.
