I've come back just to say to you all that it's worth it.

Forget anything you've thought about the album so far.

Forget how long it took to make.

Leave any bias at the door.

You'll be thankful for it.

This is my favourite ever album. I could almost fucking cry how fucking great listening to this album makes me feel. Every song... my whole body reacts.

I would've waited another 14 years.

Death Magnetic is a terrific album... shat my pants when I first heard it and it's still in heavy rotation.

But this album is better than any Metallica album.

$20 at Big W? Sounds good to me. I can't believe it's finally been released. I wasn't sure when the exact release date was.

It is actually Sat, and it usually takes an extra week on top of that for department stores to stock cds after release, but I am sure they will, and being that this cd is guaranteed to chart, they will have it for around the $20 mark as per usual.

Oh, I wanted to listen to it at the time but at the time of writing I was afraid of it being a huge disappointment.

Gotta say this, there is NOTHING on this album so far, other than the vocals, that would even hint that this is a Guns N' Roses album. This is not a Guns N' Roses album.

That said, it's not bad so far. Nothing special though, but I'm only halfway through my first listen.

The album certainly has its moments, but there are quite a few just plain boring tracks. And his voice is more annoying than ever.
