say something about what the forumer above you is listening to

I think None is amazing, though not really a fan of Aztec Two Step too much, every other song on there is badass.

Hate Eternal, never heard, but going on the name alone I think faggy metalcore.

Opeth - Heir Apparent
I think this is definitely the best song on the new cd, I LOVE that dissonant undertone throughout the song but esspecially the fade out at the end

Hadn't heard this song before, pretty cool, so different from the SYL stuff and awesome video.

Also:

WTF? Mayhem is brilliant. You are obviously not very "trve" what with your listening to that hardcore band earlier, though I guess decapitated does somewhat make up for it...

Hate eternal- Two Demons

it's my taste.. I don't like black metal, the only black metal bands that I like are: Windir, The Legion, Black Horizons, Zarathustra, Morbid Angel and Dissection. I also hate thrash metal. All Shall Perish are not hardcore like As I Lay Dying eww. They have 3-4 more ''calm'' songs on their new album. They are kind of death metal hardcore. I guess that you didn't listen to their songs Prisoner Of War and the Last Relapse..

I listened to the song you mentioned, it had a breakdown so that was that out of the window for me.

I didn't like black metal until very recently, I have been into death for a couple of years and every time I heard black metal I just thought tit* sounded really bland and cheesy when synths were on, then I started listening to Emperor and it suddenly made sense. I'm not saying you will ever like it or anything but give it a chance.

Also, good call on The Smiths, Derek that song is a guilty pleasure for me.

*I'm leaving that typo in

EDIT: oops, nearly forgot:
Allan Holdsworth - Panic Station

Guilty pleasure?

They're one of the most special bands to come from these isles in the past 30 years! Intensely special guitar playing and lyricism that is so sharp it'll knock you on your ass. Morrissey may be an ego driven knob, but he has a very simple eloquence to his songs.
