say something about what the forumer above you is listening to

Soulside Journey is probably the most widely loved old death metal album that I haven't really listened to. I heard clips of it, some of it but never really cared too much. What I have heard from it...that sound lives alot in today's metal scene I think.

Np: Lipid - Deliver Us From Evil

I don't particularly like that album.I mean sure, it's got some feel to it but Viva Emptiness would have to be my fav Katatonia album.

Nevermore-Narcosynthesis
I think it was one of the first songs I heard from NM. And at that point, the only song I fell in love with instantly at first listen. First thought was 'Fuck me this is magic. This guy's voice is like a water snake.'
Lol.

Great, obviously. I think even people like me who don't like that album agree it's a fantastic opener.

Communic-Fooled By The Serpent

I don't like this song or band much, but the second half of the solo is one of my favorite solos ever.

Not my style.

Leviathan - The Tenth Sublevel of Suicide (LP)

scared the living shit out of my the first time I heard it.

Always loved Sanctuary...imo, there's not enough heavy metal or "power metal" that's as heavy as Sanctuary, Nevermore, Control Denied, Solitude Aeternus, Judas Priest, Halford, old Iced Earth, Prototype...if you get what I mean. I want fuckin' RIFFS to those old school metal "nowobh" vocals.

NP: Joy Division - Disorder

Edit: I'm talking GOOD bands, not those random generic, forgettable bands like (forgive my soul) Communic........I will state though that I haven't heard those guys in a long time. I can't remember when but I scanned an album of theirs and found boring. and snippets of some other CD.

I'm waking up early to buy tickets for the Roger Waters show on september 15/16th at the molson. Nice.

It sure would be nice to go, I'm sure it'll be the motherfucking spectacle of the year, but I just can't help but seeing it as the old man's nostalgia factory raping the traitor-hippie-baby-boomer's wallets for everything they've got.

$80 + TM bullshit for the nosebleeds? Come on.
