Yes, generally people either liked Space, above and beyond or hated it.

Earth 2 wasn't a terrible show either, it had some good moments and could have gone in a really cool direction.

Gary Cole rules in everything, Office Space, Brady Bunch movies, American Gothic etc.

I know there was also a movie called American Gothic, but the movie and the tv show are nothing alike. Weird...
Earth 2 was interesting. I think I only saw one or two episodes of it, though.
