...Digidesign politely informed me that my registry code had already been used and to contact Digidesign to resolve the issue.
"Well, what did you do?" You may ask.
Nothing, really.
I let out a long sigh, muttered "of course it has," turned off the computer and resolved to call Digi on Monday.
I work for a dealer and in turn am one. I see this stuff all the time. No one is impervious. Frankly, if you can't take this stuff on the chin, be able to smile, kick back and drink a nice, cold Alexander Keiths, or whatever your beverage of choice is (as I now am, five minutes after the incident), then maybe you shouldn't be working with digital audio.
So to the truly hardcore who didn't call up your dealer, Digi rep or the tech line screaming and/or whining, this one's for you

I didn't even get mad when the disc kept getting spit out of both my PBG4 and my G5, I just sighed, like you, and calmly looked for the number to tech support. They gave me a download which took forever but w/e. And yeah, you can usually use the code more than once, I have PT8 on both my G5 and PBG4 now.
