Hi guys. I'm new here so I hope my upcoming question has not already been asked before. =P

I just wanna know what equipment he used for recording the "Among the Living" album.. I know he uses Randall Vmax heads now but I don't know if he used it at the time. I really love his tone on this album.. =P

Thx.

Yeah! ;D

I was thinking about buying his signature Black-13 pedal too..
I use a Jackson RR3 Pro series with Seymour Duncan pick-ups and a Randall amps (RG100SC G2 Series). Do you think I can get a pretty similar tone with this?

I'm not an expert on Randall amps, so I wouldn't know, but it's not just a matter of gear. Jackson with Seymour Duncan should help you though. Scott's picking technique is so strong that a lot of his sound comes from that. Maybe try setting your EQ at something like: low 5-7 mid 1-3 high 6-8. Atleast that works for me.

the pedal is really cool.
i ve got a Jackson JJ1 and A Mesa. So i dont really need a footpedal. But as a Anthrax-Fan you will have a lot of fun with the Black 13.
In the guitar-shop theytold me, that this pedal is really cool.
So you dont must be a anthrax fan to enjoy these sounds.
With a Dean MLF with EMGs its also killer.

COUGHT in AAAA MOOOOOSH. You got it!

p.s. my last toy, is the line 6 -pocket pod.
