Scott Ian:Does he think about his fans?

I email Scott quite often as well, and I too have not received a reply from him. Don't worry though, Scott actually admits he not that computer savy, plus the fact that Anthrax(including Scott) is extremley busy right now finishing the new album and ironing out all the details with the new record contract they just signed. I have a couple of friends that have meet John, Frank, Charlie, and ofcourse Scott! In all cases, the members of Anthrax have been very happy, and glad to meet them. My friend Joel actually received what was left of some Barcardy 151 from Scott Ian's hands so I'm sure they would extend the same hand of friendship to you if you get a chance to meet them someday. Also ask yourself this question, "If you were in a popular band like Anthrax, do you think that you would have time to answer possibly hundreds of emails daily?" I'm sure that you may realize just how tuff that could be. I'm sure that Scott is happy to see the emails in his inbox(after all, we are the fans that keep them driving). Don't worry mang, maybe we'll both get a email inviting us to the release party!

Cheerz!

Keep in mind that Scott probably gets tons of email. I have enough trouble replying to the 2 or 3 I get a day (maybe if I quit giving posting replies on this board higher priority  ).

Whenever I email a celebrity, whether it be Scott Ian, Angus Young, Jerry Seinfeld, or the most recent Playboy Playmate, I never expect a reply, so consider yourself lucky when you get one.

That being said, I did get a reply from Scott in the middle of the whole name controversy, thanking me for my support. He hasn't returned my 40 other emails, though.

How many "rock stars" do you get replies from? He's better than most. If you email him, keep it short, sweet and interesting and you'll probably get a reply. Whooohooo Scott you rule, what kind of foot pedal do you use questions probably get a little old. But questions like who would you fuck first and why - Jamke Janson or Jennifer Connolly?, he'll probably respond.

Don't email me, I never reply :-)

He replied to me! Granted, it was just to say thanks, but it was a response, and that's good enough for me. I basically just told him how i thought their show was so good that they earned a new fan, how much i appreciated the obvious energy they had, etc. It was very cool of him to reply. The websites of other bands I go to don't even give you the option of emailing one of the members - Scott certainly doesn't have to do that, and I think the fact that he does is answer enough to the question of whether he thinks about the fans or not.

I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather they be making some kick ass music for us to all look forward to and nearly shit ourselves when it comes out than sitting on their asses in front of their computers writing YOU back.

:Smokedev:

hanks for the positive words guys, your right about a lot of other rock stars that don't even reply. But if any of you would like to e-mail any of the Type O Negative members personally then you should pop to the official Type O website (sorry I'm not sure what it is). My friend wrote to Pete Steele the singer and he gave a quick reply. :spin:

E-N-J-O-Y

The only e-mail I sent about a year ago, I got a short response. The dude is busy now, he wasn't back then. I will take never hearing from Scott again as long as they are busting their asses on the most heavily anticipated release of my life. I can't fuckin wait!!!

Also, I got the opportunity to chat with John on KNAC about six months ago and I kept quoting my favorite lyrics from Anthrax and Armored Saint.......He kept replying: "great lyrics....who wrote them?" and "Genious.....pure Genious!!!" and "Mind if I use that one???"

John not only writes kickass lyrics but is pretty funny as well
