Screw caution...

Could be the band SCREW, but I am pretty sure they are defunct.

My second guess would be MANOWAR, as there have been rumblings of potential US shows in 2011. Though, regardless of what some think here, I guess it may not truly be oddball.

High slot means either longevity or established cred or both...what I wouldn't give to see the all mighty TIAMAT!!! Although, let the record show, I would be stoked if it was MDB.

I was thinking oddball, not oldball.

Ha! I slam ANNIHILATOR and got shitstormed on from the guy for a whole day. You do, and utter silence!!!!!!!!!!!

Glen - you truly are a powerful man. I really wish I would have known you were coming to Chicago. I would have gladly purchased you an overpriced 24 oz can of swill!

Appreciate it the offer. It would have been cool to chat for a few.

And for the record, it was just a stab at MM. I actually like the band, especially the old stuff.

Could it be James Labrie? New CD coming out, Glenn just posted a pic with him. Maybe the trip to Chicago wasn't just to see the Maiden show. Labrie has name recognition, but his solo stuff isn't really prog or power. Half the PP crowd would hate it too! :loco:

I hope that Glenn has a gauze budget sat aside if he does this, it's going to be expensive to supply enough for all of the bleeding ears....

As much as I don't believe it's MDB, if it DID turn out to be them, I would guaranteed be there in 2011 even if the other eleven bands were Nickelback
