Could be the band SCREW, but I am pretty sure they are defunct.
My second guess would be MANOWAR, as there have been rumblings of potential US shows in 2011. Though, regardless of what some think here, I guess it may not truly be oddball.

Could it be James Labrie? New CD coming out, Glenn just posted a pic with him. Maybe the trip to Chicago wasn't just to see the Maiden show. Labrie has name recognition, but his solo stuff isn't really prog or power. Half the PP crowd would hate it too!

Oh how I would enjoy that. I would almost go as crazy as if he were able to pull off booking Saxon.
As much as I don't believe it's MDB, if it DID turn out to be them, I would guaranteed be there in 2011 even if the other eleven bands were Nickelback
