1. there is a major difference between Sculptured and Sculpture. I think "Trapped" may be talking about Sculpture.
2. 12 tone is basically creating a key out of notes that you pick. There are certain rules about it like Eldritch said, but not everyone adheres to them. Sculptured uses a few tone rows here and there, but we mostly work with matrixes comprised of words and telephone numbers and such.
3. New Sculptured? Perhaps a cross between Steve Reich/ Raison D'etre / and Glenn Gould? maybe not...
