Searching for a snare up to 200€

Hey guys,

which snares would you recommend up to 200€ for live use and recording?

In general, what are the differences between a, for example, 12"*3,5" snare and a 14" * 6,5" snare in sound?
Which materials are more preferred for metal? Wood, Metal?

Tama Metalworks are very good for the money, I paid about £150 for mine. World Max snares are also great and punch way above their price point.

Try to find Pearl's MCX used - it's one of the best snares out there regardless of price.
