If it's supposed to be seated, it will be seated, as the Opeth website even confirms. Security will probably be assholes if people get out of control, on top of that it seems it was Opeth's request for seats at these, so don't pissy Mike off!

I hate how people dont sit when they give you chairs. what the hell are you going to accomplish from standing? Its supposed to be a kick back and relax show. I hope to sit, but I dont think its going to happen because all the young kids of today cant sit still for a second. Whats wrong with just sitting back and enjoying a live show? You can still headband when sitting down, and moshing would be stupid with chairs. Save the obnoxious childish bullshit for other shows, this is an appreciation show.

When I got my tickets straight form the Chicago house of blues the lady said there wouldn't be any seating at the show, other than the normal balcony.

im with you man, i said it before, if i have some jerkoff infront of me standing or screwing up the show for me im gonna have to toss em...they put these shows together for real fans to sit and appreciate music from their whole career, and how can you do that if your jerking eachother off in a moshpit, or hoping around from seat to seat? lol

Yea I wouldn't mind seated either. The worst is when there is an option between seated and general admission and the ass's that pick seated still insist in standing
