I’ll try to make a long explanation short. Esp Ltd v407b, pod hd bean, HD500, emg 81b 85n.
Using high gain patches I get a fair amount of noise when playing and when I stop playing. I use a noise gate and have it turned up enough so there’s no humming or anything while not playing but say if I play something and stop I get noise for a little bit after I stop. Sometimes it seems when I’m playing that the noise will start and you can totally hear it, makes everything sound like crap . I’ve tried dampening the strings at the nut and the bridge, worked on muting strings better etc.. the only constant is the the pods it does it on all my guitars.. if I use vst amp sims I don’t have this issue.. thanks!
