Spirals in Hyperspace is good, but if TBJ wants to hear a more laid-back spacey vibe, Ozrics' older discs have a more 'organic' flavor (the newer ones are 'brighter' and more electronic as a whole).
I'd recommend Jurassic Shift, Erpland or the great live CD Live Underslunky....although really, you can't go wrong with anything from their released-first-on-CD period.
As a side note, Waterfall Cities thanks me in the liner notes.

Sure they lean on the death metal fringe often, but when they don't, it sounds like you tripped on a bad hit of acid.

If you want spacey/ambient listen to Remembering Universe by Humanoid. As far as death metal goes Augury conveys the whole cosmic/spacey vibe incredibly well, but I'm also biased on both counts.

I've never listened to Humanoid, but Augury is really cool. It looks like they share some members so I'll have to check them out.

Humanoid is the solo project of Augury's guitarist Mathieu Marcotte. Definitely check out his debut, it's amazing stuff.
