The actual Rain Man, Kim Peek, died of a heart attack a few days ago.

He used to spend most of his days at the SLC Public Library and read (you could see him there pretty much any time you went, not sure if he ever left). He could recall from memory pretty much anything he read, such as phone numbers, zip codes, the 3rd sentence on page 43 of book X, strange shit like that.
