have recently opened. I found this info on their news page for independent artists: "Help sound&fury fill their empty shelves! As an independent record store, sound&fury are all about supporting and promoting independent music. where possible, we try to be pro-active about it, but we can't be everywhere at once. if you're an independent artist, we want to do whatever we can to get your music out there, whether it be through flyers, posters, selling/giving away your demos... we'll shout obscenities from the rooftops if that's what it takes. primarily, what we're looking for is independently-released music that isn't available through the normal channels of distribution and marketing. demos, CD-Rs, home-made tapes... if you've made it, we want it. we can arrange very agreeable consignment/sor terms, although we're open to pretty much any way of doing things that will result in getting your music heard." http://www.soundandfury.com.au
