If you could leave it; some production feedback and suggestions would be most appreciated on my bands newest, basement produced demo. Thank you for all the tips and advice this forum has given me.

Recorded with the Personus FP10

8 drum mic's

Guitar Left: Boss GT8 through an older Peavy head for tube warmth mic'd with a sm68

Guitar Right: DI with a Line 6 vetta head

Bass: DI box and a DBX 31 band EQ

Vox: one condencer with pop filter about a foot away. Also, a sm 57 at the same distace/leval pointing at the singers cheek.

Mixed in Cubase and mastered with Izotope.

I'm not a senior members but I feel like guitars really dominate this mix and that you are having the problem I've been dealing with. The guitars should come down to make room for the vocals and the drums.

Might be worth looking into boosting the kick a few db between 70-100hz just to give it some low end carry.

The Guitars are to loud for the mix the drums don't have any beef to them and the vocals should be a lil louder. but with the right mix i don't see why this wouldn't sound pretty good.

Cool, I had the same problem on the last mix so I brought them down again. But, I belive the BBE brought them right back up front.

I'll let you huys know when i get the next mix posted.
