Sepultura Cover

lol cheers bobbeh, that means a lot coming from you, same guitar tone you were creaming over the other day :p

I think my next cover will be something like "Blind in Texas" by W.A.S.P or maybe something even better.

You sir, are full of surprises!

Good job man, scary even ;) !

Is it fair to say that this is the best sound you have eva gotten so far? i think it sounds great...

Good stuff cobhc. you improved your mixes lot lately. Not perfect yet of course but I definitely hear some serious progress. And the vocals are cool.
The drums lack some beef maybe because of the massive bass. Search for a spot in the low mid (100-300hz)were you can keep some space for the other instruments.
The kick click is a bit higher than it should. Maybe a low pass at 10-8khz or so will glue it in the mix.

What do you mean by this?

And I assume by this you mean the kick only?

Well the bass is the most masking instrument. It tend to steal some of the other instruments (kick/Tom/snare) body.
By cutting some low or Low mid frenquencies of the bass guitar, you keep some room for them.

Yes, I'm talking about the "clickiness" of the kick drum.
