So what does everyone think the set for the American leg of the tour will be? Do you guys think that they'll stick with 20+ tunes? I hope so..but unfortunately I think they will have to cut some. I don't think any tracks from STYE will be cut, seeing as how that is the album they are promoting..but sadly I wouldn't be surprised if I don't get to hear Clayman, Gyroscope, Cloud Connected, Embody..or even a few others :( . Oh well, it's the nature of the beast I guess...what are your guys' thoughts?

I think the set will be 16-17 songs and they will rotate most likely Embody, Coerced Coexistence, Square Nothing (this one I really want to see, I don't think it's ever been played in the states), Gyroscope, and maybe one of the songs from the new album. I hope they drop System for the US tour too. I've always hated that song with a passion.

If I heard 17 songs from In Flames on a co-headlining American tour, I would be very very happy :) I'm kind of in the middle with System...I would really like to hear Square Nothing and Trigger live...I have never seen them performed live...but then again, I've never seen any In Flames songs performed live yet  :headbang:

Eh, I'm not very picky. I consider myself lucky to even be seeing them live...they can play whatever they'd like for me...but I understand where you are coming from man, sometimes bands should just lay off the excessive playing of new tunes...but then again they have to look at it from the promotional angle, so I guess it all works out

Lucky? I don't know where you live, but In Flames has now toured the USA 6 fucking times since 2001. I mean, christ, I wish they'd stay in Europe at this point. It's all well and good that they invite cool bands like Sevendust and Slipknot on tour with them, but really, aren't they missed back home?

Well I know they've done several other US tours, but i just turned 17, and my parents weren't too excited about letting me travel to antoher state to see a band when I was 15...so this is the first time they are playing pretty close to me that I have a chance to see them...but they do shows in Sweden too....so I don't know if they are that badly missed

I asked my mom to see IF every tour since Colonization (when I was eleven) :-D

The set will probably be an hour and a half (45 mins for AILD, 90 for IF, 90 for KSE, then 20 or 30 minutes each to setup for IF and KSE )
figuring the shows start at 7 or 730 and will be over at 12-1230, i think that's about it, although some shows would be different.

The givens would be Behind Space, Episode 666, Colony (unless they choose a new closer), Pinball Map, Only For The Weak, Cloud Connected, Trigger, and a few more from RTR and at least 6 from STYE.
Then a few of these :
Clad In Shadows
Moonshield
Gyroscope
Scorn
Coerced Coexistance (they seems to like this one live now, so i think it'll stay)
Embody The Invisible
Bullet Ride
Clayman

My prediction is this:

[in no particular order]

Cloud Connected
The Quiet Place
Colony
Episode 666
Dead Alone
My Sweet Shadow
Behind Space
Clayman
Only for the Weak
Gyroscope
F(r)iend
System
Like you Better Dead
Watch Them Feed
Clad in Shadows
Pinball Map

maybe one or two more from the new album. Thats my guess.

When I saw them in May, they closed with 'My Sweet Shadow'. Very unexpected, they also played In Search for I. They didn't play much from STYE at all, only about four songs, RtR got it's usual culprits (System, Trigger, Cloud Connected) They also played Drifter if I remember correctly...All the older numbers were the same.

Pinball Map
Clayman
Only for the Weak
Colony
Behind Space
Episode 666

(They played a few more old ones, but I can't remember which) I was guessing they would open with Bullet Ride but it didn't even get played, oh well. I truly enjoy all IF material so I'm not mad at what they did/didn't play at all.

God I want a bootleg of this show :(
