Sgt. D. Figure?!

Many years ago, I'd like to say like 6-7 years ago I saw that there was going to be a Sgt. D action figure produced... Charlie had a hand in it if I recall.
Did this ever see the light of day? I did see some pictures of the prototype and it looked pretty fucking cool.
Any info guys?!

Keep your eyes open on ebay....I'll bet it was manufactured for the Japanese market.
