Light Heavyweight division is so weird. Every title match is pathetic, just the contender fights and the the title holder looks like a complete rookie.
You see, Lyoto totally destroyed Rashad, that did nothing. Then Shogun did the same thing with Lyoto. Now Jones raped Shogun without him giving a single punch. Not surprised if Evans destroy Jones on the next fight. That belt must be made out of kryptonite or have all kinds of STDs, because it certainly makes the champion lame.

Bad times for Shogun, totally couldn't get past that reach. Seemed to be gassed pretty quick and only main offense was 2 heel hooks.

Interesting to see who's the dude that can actually "get" Jones.

i don't know that it makes the champ lame, it's just the most competitive division in the sport...the guys at 205 are strong enough to have ridiculous knockout power, but light enough to be still be quick and explosive, which makes for short title runs

really, if you look back, nobody has defended that belt more than once since chuck liddell lost it...rampage beat chuck, then lost his next fight to griffin. griffin then lost to rashad, who lost to machida, who of course beat shogun once before getting rocked in the rematch.

also, if there's any one guy who can beat jones, it's rashad, since he'll be more familiar with his crazy-ass style as a result of training together in the past
