Hey yall, im new to these forums and just looking for a little feedback.
This is the fist metal/recorded peice of music ive ever made. I mostly make electronic music (because im too lazy to actually record stuff) but am starting to get more into recording metal, which is why i got interested in producing in the first place.
Anyway. Heres the track ive been working on. Im not really looking for critique on the song itself (honestly, ill probably end up scrapping it because i dont like it very much), but im interested in how my mix sounds.
I recorded it DI with 2 guitars and a bass. Les Paul w/emgs, Epiphone Beast w/stock pick ups, and an Epiphone EB-0 with some 5 year old strings on it that are way to light for the drop tuning. I used Le456 and LeCTO for the amps run into guitar hack impulses with TSE808 on the front. The bass was just Guitar Rig 5. For the drums i used EZ, so thats why they sound crap. I tried to play with the velocity and turing off that snap to try and get a more human feel to em. Not sure how well that worked out.
