Doubtful it doesn't seem to fit them doing a mellow acoustic based album.
I think Tonight's Decision is the closest think to mellow they have done so far :Smug:

i dont think so...i like their softer stuff like A Premonition off of Viva Emptiness, but i doubt a whole album of songs like that would fit Katatonia.
