Show me yours and I´ll show you mine!

So how do you actually find anything in that collection?

"Honey, two zombies disemboweling a naked woman in a room filled with babies on meathooks?"
"1!"
"Thanks!"

Answer 1: You don't - hence it being described as useless.

She just looked at the pictures, and then stacked them in the appropriate pile. What with her not being blind (albeit that would explain our betrothal), she did not need an audio explanation of the picture on many of the CDs, unless they weren't immediately apparent as images (i.e. the image on Mercyful Fate - Melissa).

Oddly, she favoured war like images and action images, and disliked the modern arty photshop style most.

I have given up on arranging the CDs, and now just stack them at random.

I'm so disorganized

Those pics make me feel dirty. :ill:

By genre (METAL is one of... 8), alphabetically by artist, then chronologically.

I would invest in a large CD shelf, one that holds several hundred CDs, so you don't have to worry about storage space every year or so.

I've been slowly moving old books and other things to my other house in Maine, creating more shelf space for my CD's. When I move to Maine permanently this summer I'll probably start dividing my collection. Especially in college I'll have limited space, so I'll take to my dorm only the CD's I'll listen to the most.

I may eventually get a tower anyways.

The problem is, my room is very short on space and I have no place to put something that large. I just got a bookshelf, so I've been considering placing a few 30-CD holders on it to keep them out of the way.

My older CDs are slowly diminishing through sale, though, so I think by the summer I'll have a much better system of organization.

I also have serious space issues, but I've long ago decided to sacrifice that for more CDs. I decided that it's better to buy a large unit once instead of smaller ones 5, 6, a dozen times or more. Though of course I've already filled mine and have about enough to fill half of another...that has to last me another few years whenever the fuck out I move out, but I have at least two more years of college before that happens.

We'll, Me and My Stepdad started a metal cd collection when I was like 15, I'm 17 now and I save all the cd's to my computer, I just hit 100gb of music last night... I might take a picture of all the actual cd's but that involves going downstairs lol..
