I'm a little sad because Jackson is my fav brand and I don't like ESPs that much... their necks don't suit my hands and IMO they are way overpriced.
Especially the ESP Kh-2, unbelievable.
However, I'm pretty sure that a real ESP custom guitar would kick ass, so I won't lose any sleep over it.
BTW, I'll see their new guitars April 22nd in Hamburg.

Metal is Religion said:never played a jackson, but i own an ibanez and an ESP those guitars are very nice in my opinion, i dont see why anyone would say ESP sucks, i think that Jackson is very similar to ESP and people just say jackson is better because so many people use them
Lev said:more people use ESP than Jackson.. when it comes to big names atleast. You won't see too many people say "i've picked up a Jackson because this guy uses them".. ESP on the other hand have Hetfield, Hammett, Hannemen, Max Cavalera, George Lynch, and the list goes on. All Jackson really ever had was Randy Rhoads. I guess Alexi could influence some people to buy Jacksons, but not too many. Right now their biggest endorser is Phil Collen, thats not a good thing lol. Remember most of the people buying guitars these days are nu-metal kids... so they'll buy whatever they see on MTV; in other words Ibanez and ESP's. Both are good guitars, its whatever you like, whatever suits you. But its a fact that Jacksons are #1 between them when it comes to quality, especially for the price. I can pay $1200 for a brand new USA soloist here, where as a JEM7VWH goes for $1800, Japan made. ESP's signature guitars are usually around $2000.. so you do the math
