What's up everyone? I'm very proud to introduce the latest release from Impact Soundworks, a new secret weapon for drum production: Shreddage Drums!
We designed this instrument from the ground up to give you badass drum sounds for rock & metal, AND allow for FULL control over everything. Over 25,000 samples are included, with both raw AND multiple produced versions of many drums. Direct mics, overheads, and rooms are all included along with FULL bleed control... no shortcuts here. You're getting everything you would have in studio, plus even more (like adjustable OH/RM sends for direct mics and even specific cymbals)
In terms of presets we've got a couple dozen kits ranging from dry, tight and punchy to really phat and low-tuned. We'll be releasing more for free as well. The library comes with over 700 MIDI grooves + fills for rock & metal by Groove Monkee as well, so if you need some inspiration you've got it.
Just like with our Shreddage II guitar I really wanted to give people total control and flexibility over the entire instrument. Besides full mix & bleed options, you also have free multi-out routing and an analog modeled FX rack for every bus built right in. In fact, all of our demos use nothing but the built-in FX.
Unlike certain other recently released libraries, mapping is 100% flexible. You can assign any drum or articulation (i.e. rolls, flams, left hand/right hand) to any key, AND do per-key volume and tuning. I wanted to make sure people using drum triggers or electronic drum setups were totally covered. You can also redraw and modify the input velocity curve completely.
