silent night, bodom night help

nah man, i dnt have a bad attitude, im a nice guy, but since most of you on here hate bodom and take a stab at them at every chance you get, why must i be considerate to you. take a look at these threads stating gavin is an asshole, soooo im not the only one thinking it. i wasn't intentionally being an asshole myself, i was just saying it'd be easier if he learnt the basics of sweeping first, then came back to this. yeah, you'll probably give a negative response to this and prolly every other post of mine but whatever, tis the internet after all eh.

war: hehe btw protecting them only turns us stabbers on... so if you stopped caring so fucking much maybe your wish would come true ;P... you should listen to alexi, instead of hearing him.... "i dont give a fuck i ya hate me" :)

Your reasoning is flawed.

I only posted here cause YOU and others were giving this poor dude a hard time.
So to blame it on me is a bit rich :loco:

SERIOUS ADVICE: If you can't sweep pick fluently, don't even think about trying this song otherwise you'll shit all over it like most people do.

hey dumbfuck, the first thing i ever learned to sweep was silent night bodom night and towards dead end, and i had no cluse what to do, so NO, you dont have to know any other things about it, just how it is done, dont listen to this jackass

fuck you guys are retards..i ask a simple question and instead of helping me, you give me shit
thanxs

no offense, but if your question made more sense, people would probably try to answer it. I dont have a fucking clue what you are trying to say

What's the whole reasoning for playing more towards the neck pickup when playing major arpeggios as opposed to minor like alexi does? I've noticed this alot with certain people but others just play the sweeps in the same position. Is it supposed to be easier for majors closer to the fretboard or is it just personal preference? I guess another reason would be if you were about to tap a higher note after an arpeggio but I'm still just curious.

BTW stop fighting like a bunch of pansies

I think its just a preference myself, when I sweep I keep my picking hand right between my 24 fret and what would be a middle pickup and hold my pick with my thumb and index finger and tap using my middle, ring, and pinky fingers, thats just how I do sweeps though, here is one that may help you out with 5-6 string sweeps:

E-------------8-10H12H15H17P15P12P10P8--------------
B----------10----------------------------10------------
G---------9--------------------------------9-----------
D-------10----------------------------------10---------
A---7-12--------------------------------------12-7-----
E-8------------------------------------------------8-5-

A lot of the time they will do some tapping on the fretboard, so it minimizes total movement when you sweep closer to the neck.
