Out-fucking-standing.

Mickey Rourke steals the show, otherwise I hand it to Benicio Del Toro. I'd never read the graphic novel before seeing this...does the movie capture the entire comic storyline, or is there more Sin City in print?

FWIW, I still think Batman Begins is the "non-academy" film of the year.

I about bought this today for $6, but didn't some special director's cut edition come out recently or something? Is it worth paying more?

No, there is a considerable bit more of Sin City (that is assuredly going to be made into future movie(s)). But quite a bit of that movie is shot-for-panel, straight outta the books.

Also, Sin City > Batman Begins.

Add this to the list of movies I was way too fucking stoned to remember anything more than a vague impression of:

- it was fucking crazy over the top with the violence
- black and white
- very cool style and acting

Jaime King (Goldie/Wendy) steals the show. Did you see the friggin rack on that chick?

I prefer Sin City. I thought batman begins faded towards the end.

Zod

Here, here Nate.

I've now seen it 3 times over the course of 8 months, and I'm still maintaining my initial reaction that Sin City has immediately vaulted into my top 10 movies of all time. Yes, it's that good.

I'm hoping to get the special 2-DVD edition for Xmas as well. :headbang:
