Just listening to SINKING SAND in the car during lunch today - hadn't had TUG in the player for a while...

I do have to say this is definitely one of my favorite songs that the band has done in a while with an amazing solo from Doug - that section is just the best and I had forgotten just how much I love it.

Also love the fact that besides having Ted's amazing lyrics, this song lets everyone shine - Ed has that SWEET bass part, Sean's playing is tight and crisp and up front, and Bill has that classic piano part too....

I think the lyrics show a lot of courage. To write stuff as personal as that adds another dimension to the song for me. Truly amazing sound by the way.
